Artist Training Grounds VII Day 14 - Draw a pony crossing over with your favorite game/book/movie/ect
Ok, this totally makes up for what I did for yesterday's prompt. I've been on a DBZ kick lately due to recently coming to own all 7 of the U.S. Dragon Boxes and watching the series in Japanese for the first time. Never made the time to do that and I felt that this was a perfect excuse to do so now. That being said, I love, love, LOVE, the way that SSJ Goku pony turned out. I wasn't 100% sure that he'd turn out very well, but god damn am I happy with the final result. To the point where it turned out to be another drawing that I didn't want to fuck up by attempting to ink it so I just made it a point to darken the sketch lines with pencil instead and I think that choice was for the best because it looked so much better than I feel inking it would have. But while I did darken the lines, apparently I still didn't darken them enough for it to look as good in the scan so I actually made it a point to lower the brightness on the drawing itself which made it look even better in my opinion. Hope you like it as much as I do.
